Extension Social Pass Visit (FREE)

If you enter in Malaysia on eVisa, there is NO Extension of Malaysian eVisa. Only sticker visa can be extended for another 30 days.

An Extension may be given on Special consideration e.g. due to illness, accident, war in home country etc. The visitor must furnish evidence, and also a “confirmed flight ticket’ back to their home country or third country.

Important for Students:

Effective 2022, foreigners holding Visit Pass (Social) who wish to study in Malaysia cannot convert their pass to Student Pass to in Malaysia. Following this the Journey Performed Visa will no longer be issued.

Foreign students must remain in their country of origin during the processing of their Student Pass application. For nationals who require a visa to enter Malaysia, they must apply for the Visa with Reference when they have got the approval of their Student’s Pass.
Foreigner students in the following categories are exempted from this requirement :
  • Primary School
  • Secondary School
  • Private School
  • International School
  • Expatriate School
